Takedown notice (required information)

To help us act quickly, your notice should include as much of the following as applicable:

• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
• Identification of the material on HolyTaboo that you claim is infringing, with enough detail to locate it (for example, the full URL of our page or video listing).
• Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury where applicable, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Incomplete notices may delay processing. Misrepresenting that material is infringing may expose you to liability.

Aggregator notice

HolyTaboo is a discovery service that embeds or links to videos hosted by third parties. Removing content at the host is often the fastest fix. We will still review valid notices regarding listings and pages on our Website and remove or disable access to infringing references where appropriate.

Counter-notification

If you believe material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to [email protected] that includes, where applicable:

• Your physical or electronic signature;
• Identification of the material and where it appeared on our site before removal;
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
• Your name, address, and telephone number;
• A statement that you consent to service of process from the person who submitted the original notice, or as otherwise required by applicable law.

We may restore access after the waiting period required by applicable law unless the complainant initiates further legal action.

Other illegal or harmful content

Copyright is not the only reason to report content. For non-copyright issues (for example, content you believe is illegal or violates our Terms of Use), email [email protected] with the exact URL and a clear explanation.

Repeat infringement

We may block access from IP addresses or take other technical measures against parties who repeatedly submit infringing material or abusive notices. The public Website does not currently offer user accounts; any future upload or comment features would be subject to stricter repeat-infringer rules.
