HolyTaboo (https://holytaboo.com) is intended for adults aged 18 and older. If you are a parent or guardian, the steps below can help reduce the chance that minors access adult websites—including this one and the third-party platforms we link or embed.
RTA — Restricted To Adults
HolyTaboo participates in the RTA (Restricted To Adults) labeling program operated by ASACP. Every page on our site is marked with the official RTA meta label so parental control software, browsers, search engines, and ISPs that support RTA can treat this website as adult-only content and help block access for minors.

The most important step
Use your device's built-in parental controls. On phones, tablets, computers, and game consoles, open system settings and search for terms like "parental controls," "Screen Time," or "family safety." These tools are free, widely available, and are the most effective way to restrict apps, browsers, and content by age.
Safe search in search engines
Turn on strict or safe search so adult sites are less likely to appear in results. Configure each search engine your household uses:
- Google: SafeSearch help
- Bing: Bing account settings
- Yahoo: SafeSearch on Yahoo
For younger children, consider a kid-oriented search engine such as Kiddle.
Windows family safety
On Windows 10 and Windows 11, Microsoft Family lets you manage website filters, app and game limits, and screen time for child accounts signed in on the PC.
Apple Screen Time
On iPhone, iPad, and Mac, use Screen Time and Content & Privacy Restrictions to limit explicit content, purchases, and changes to privacy settings on a child's device.
Android and Google Play
Google Play restricts adult apps in the store, but you can add further limits with Google Family Link and Play parental controls (content filtering, purchase approval, app limits).
Router and ISP filtering
Many Internet service providers and home routers offer optional family or adult-content filters at the network level. Contact your ISP or check your router admin panel. Network filters typically block adult sites for every device on that connection—including yours.
Browser and DNS filters
You can install filtering software or use a family-safe DNS service on individual devices or on your home router. These tools maintain block lists for adult domains and categories. Because HolyTaboo aggregates third-party embeds, blocking both our site and major video hosts may be necessary for strict protection.
Talk with your children
Technical controls work best alongside open conversation about online safety, appropriate content, and what to do if they see something upsetting. No filter is perfect; supervision and trust matter.
